Over a dozen feared dead after minibus rolls down into gorge in Ramban

RAMBAN: At least a dozen passengers are feared dead in a road mishap in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning.

An official said a minibus on way to Ramban district headquarters from Banihal skidded off the road and rolled down into a 200 feet deep gorge.

He said a rescue operation was immediately launched. The official said the bus was overcrowded with passengers when the mishap took place.

Meanwhile, reports said that the deputy commissioner Ramban Showkat Aijaz has called for air lifting the critically injured to GMC&H Jammu.
