Kishtwar, Sep 7,( KTNS): Government Forces have intensified search operations in Kishtwar district of Chenab Valley here in Jammu and Kashmir to track down the oldest surviving militant who is affiliated with Hizbul Mujhadeen.

Reliable sources said that security agencies have received inputs that the oldest surviving militant Muhammad Amin alias Jahangir Saroori has become active yet again and are trying to revive militancy in Chenab Valley.

Sources informed news agencies KTNS that Government Forces are looking for Muhammad Amin alias Jahangir Saroori, the longest surviving militant in Chenab Valley who is active since 1989.

Reports said that from past couple of days, Government Forces have launched multiple Cordon and Search Operations to nab the said militant. A police official confirmed that they have reports that Jahangir Saroori is luring youth towards militancy. He said all resources are being put in use to arrest the said militant. “His name surfaced during the questioning of a suspect and since then manhunt has been launched to track him down.
